Unparalleled Expert Care

Every patient at Willow House at The Meadows is assigned a primary therapist, family therapist, attending psychiatrist, and a medical professional as part of their treatment team.

Your Patient and Willow House

Individualized attention is an important part of our treatment process, and we never have more than 10 patients enrolled in our program at any given time. Either a primary therapist or a family therapist facilitates all group sessions, with group sizes range from five to 10 patients.
Additional treatment team members include a 24-hour nursing staff, evening and weekend counselors, a Trauma Resolution Therapist for Somatic Experiencing and/or EMDR, a neurofeedback specialist, and a continuing care coordinator.

Treatment at Willow House includes:

  • A full medical, psychiatric, and psychological assessment that helps determine the treatment course
  • A full trauma assessment, including a neurofeedback assessment, trauma modality assessment, and trauma history assessment to inform the course of treatment
  • A full relationship timeline assessment to determine patterns of behavior that may not be easily identifiable and to guide the treatment team in ensuring that the time with us is as effective as possible
  • Psychological testing includes the MMPI-2, MCMI, MAWASI, anxiety and depression testing, and disordered eating assessments, with an integrated psychological report at the end of treatment
  • Completion of The Meadows signature Survivors experience for trauma
  • A full five-day family week where the patient is joined by their loved ones to share in what they have learned and find ways to heal the family as an entire system and move forward

Not Just Addiction

For many years, the term “recovery” was thought to relate to addiction alone. At Willow House at The Meadows, we focus on recovery from trauma, whether related to addiction, family-of-origin issues or abuse in any form. We believe trauma affects everyone in different ways and requires its own unique recovery process.

In some cases, your patient may have unique needs that require special attention. With a maximum of 10 patients, Willow House is uniquely qualified to provide the specialized attention needed. Call ahead and speak with an intake coordinator who can help you determine if Willow House at The Meadows can accommodate your patient’s specific situation.

Understanding the Screening Process

All patients admitted to Willow House must undergo a routine screening process designed to ensure that they are a fit for our unique program and can benefit from our care. The screening includes information on co-occurring disorders, recent hospitalizations, pre-existing medical conditions, and intimacy history.

We understand our role as stewards in the care of your patient and we take every precaution to ensure that she receives the level of care needed to either continue along or begin on the road to healing.
